Eero SaarinenEero Saarinen, born in 1910 in Kirkkonummi in Finland.
Saarinen emigrated to the United States in 1923 when he was thirteen. He grew up in the community of Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan, where his father taught. Saarinen studied with his father and took courses in sculpture and furniture design.
Eero Saarinen maintaining a close relationship with other students like Charles and Ray Eames, and becomes a good friend of Florence Knoll.
